LDRS Creative: Lovelette Peek-A-Boo!

Hello, all!
I'm back with you today for LDRS Creative and I am very happy to share with you a simple, but elegant way to use one of our newest dies on preorder right now, the Lovelette Peek-A-Boo!
I'm telling you, if you haven't preordered your favourite products from our latest release, you'll definitely want to do it sooner than later! My project for today is as simple as it can be. I first started by cutting an A2 white cardbase and folded it from the top. Then, I cut a piece of pattern paper from the Soft Blush - 6x6 Paperpack  at 4¼"x5½" to fit perfectly on my cardbase, so that it would cover it completely and show through once I place a white lacy die-cut made with the Lovelette Peek-A-Boo die. I also die-cut several elements from the same die set with scraps of my paperpack and used foam tabs to give a bit of dimension to the project.
Last but not least, I stamped the adorable Candibean character called Emmy Lou and coloured her with alcohol markers, then fussy cut her in order to be placed on top of the Lovelette Peek-A-Boo piece. Oh and you might want to check her out, as she's on SALE at more then 50% off!

Now, make sure to share your own projects on the Facebook group!
Until then, xxx

La-La Land Crafts: Birthday Inspiration!

Gooood morning!

Today is Inspiration Day for La-La Land Crafts and our newest theme is all about BIRTHDAYS! And I used the cute Blowing Bubbles Luka stamp for a masculine twist.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I'm always creating girl stuff, so I need to get more and more out of my comfort zone. Indeed, this card is pretty clean and simple, although I did use a few dies here and there: the little banner from the Stitched Elements (set of 7)Happy StitchedBuild-a-Frame Fancy Small (set of 2), and the Build-a-Frame Fancy Large (set of 2)

Oh and can you see all that texture on Luka's clothing? Definitely one for the books, eheh!

SugarPea Designs: Sweet2Repeat blog hop!

Hello, all!

Ouf, what a week it's been! And I'm back today for a very Sweet2Repeat blog hop edition with the latest release at SugarPea Designs! I am definitely not lying when I say that this is a favourite release of mine, full of coverplates, solid stamping and cute sentiments.

I used multiple items from the release on my card: the Topiary Garden stamp set, the Sympathy SugarCut, and the large striped coverplate, along with one of YOUR favourites, the Spots & Stripes Pastels pattern paperpad. Not only are good Sympathy sets VERY rare in crafting, but die-cuts are must-haves!

And you definitely want to head over to the SugarPea Designs blog for a chance to win some prizes!
